Heyyyyyy long time no seeeee. Here to announce that I'll be with
In other news, thank god this semester is FINALLY over. =A=; Worst semester ever. The workload itself was low, but my head was all over the place. It's laughably obvious in my still life paintings-- my brushstrokes grew increasingly agitated with every painting. My grades took a plummet, and I feel irritated that I lost to myself. But at the same time, I learned not to be afraid of paint, and I learned a lot of things I could improve on with my art. I may just be trying to console myself, but I find these things to be more valuable than my GPA. Sometimes you need a kick that tells you that you don't nearly know enough, but that it's all right. It's all right to slowly fill those cracks in your foundation, that it's all right to be half-empty because it represents the potential to be full.
So I'm looking forward to the summer break, even though my main concern is finding a part-time job to make some extra cash. I keep teasing everyone with the promise of opening commissions, but I swear, once Fanime is over, I will totally be doing that. I promise.
